A GEMS production -+-+- www.shnflac.net -+-+- December 2006

The Longshoremen's Hall shows appear to be from the run April 22, 23 and 24, 1966. DRESS the way YOU are. Trips 196? Festival with the Loading Zone, Celebrity Drop
Ins and Trips Regulars. Perhaps Jorma and Jack were the drop in Celebs? Here's the poster
Also is the Schoolgirl > Don't You Love Me > Schoolgirl from the Longshoremen's first night the same as included with the show date March 12, 1966 on the Archive?
I haven't had a chance to compare, but there's a comment there that suggests these songs are from late April 1966.

03:34:50 After listening to some of the music contained in these files I believe that the venues listed on the reels are wrong.
The Lonshoreman Hall 3rd Night and the Pauley Ballroom#2 are clearly misdated since in the lonshormeans show, the viola lee is in
its infancy and the beat it on down the line does not start with beats, the only other show this occurs is 3/12/66, and on the reel
that says lonshoreman's 1st night, the beats are clearly there before beat it on down the line starts which means these two shows are not
from the same run. I am dating the "3rd night" to be at longshoremans from january and the 1st night to be at longshoremans from april. There is
also a problem with the pauley ballroom which someone stated is from June. This cannot be the case as by that time I know you riders had the verses
"the sun will shine" and "i'd rather drink muddy water" This one does not and it is more similar to the I know you riders from 11-03-65 and 3-12-66.
So I am dating this also to be from the longshoremans run from January also b/c of the move to L.A. Phil says they are going to do in the next week which
they did around that time period. These are only my speculations so if anyone has any better information please share. Thanks!!!
