Comments:
I've taken a lot of this site in the last few months so it's good to be able to give something back.
I took my MD along really only for a personal recording an in case no one else recorded the show. As I was in the upper tier and quite a distance from the stage I wasn't expecting a great sound. How wrong I was. One of the best and loudest sounds I've ever heard for a stadium show. That combined with me having a seat at the end of the row meant i got a pretty good recording with only minimal chat and a much better recording than anticipated. Apart from the Australian girl saying 'David Bowie' very loudly during Space Oddity and a guy who appeared at the entrance to the seats to take pictures and chatted to the security guard for the encores, there isn't too much going on apart from the music. I know a few recordings have surfaced of this show but I think this is worth adding to them. Sometimes the sound quality even surprises me. There is a bit of echo on the quiet bits and when Bono talks but doesn't spoil the recording. I was in the pit the 2nd night and the echo was really bad during the same bits.
A fantastic gig from a fantastic band. Who would have thought they would be even better the 2nd night.
I also recorded the Glasgow show which isn't near as good as this one but I'll put it up later once this has got a few seeds on board.
I also plan to seed this on dime so would appreciate no one else taking it over there.

Enjoy.
